Born in Murcian lands in the 19th century, it was under her government when vines began to be planted on the properties of Countess Luna, Inés Roca de Togores y Téllez-Girón.

Nowadays, many decades later, this wine takes her name as a reference to the family values that represented the Spanish saga of the Counts of Luna, as well as the purest Jumillano agricultural tradition.

A shining example of Mediterranean culture reflecting our climate and terroir to perfection.

Philosophy

Our philosophy is based on four fundamental pillars:

Monastrell, soil and climate.

Monastrell is a unique and special variety that makes us different. The result, grapes of surprising concentration that produce potent, fruity, sumptuous and meaty wines.

Limestone-sandy soils allow for an unequalled cultivation of our Monastrell grapes. Poor soils, low rainfall, and extreme temperatures place unique demands on the vines.

Our Mediterranean climate, dry and sunny with a continental influence, helps our grapes to a healthy ripening, avoiding disease risk and allowing for an entirely sustainable viticulture.

Continuous Improvement.

Continuous Improvement and Excellence. From the very beginnings through to today, we have always strived to improve, day after day, with our ultimate goal being the achievement of excellence in our viticulture, our processes and in our wine.

History, Tradition and Technology.

The wisdom to bring together the endeavours of our ancestors and to unite that respectfully with the science and technology that exists today will lead us to perfection.

Sustainability.

Everything begins with the soil, respectful cultivation of our vineyards and with processes that guarantee protection of the environment. Nature is everything and taking care of it allows us to carry out sustainable viticulture, with over half of our vineyards certified as ecological.
